18A – Create a Customer Avatar

My product can essentially be sold to both individuals or businesses.  It can be sold to individuals for several reasons.  My individual customer has a love for sporting events.  They love going to these events to have fun.  When they are at these events, they love having refreshing drinks and food.  What makes this product so special is that now they do not have to get up at all.  They will be able to pay for the product and have it brought to their seats.  TV shows that my customer watches is ESPN and any kind of sporting events that may include football, basketball, hockey etc.  Some of my typical customers may have children or may not but it does not matter because the product is for any kind of fan.  If the customer is too young to make a purchase, a parent can but they young child will be able to play with the tablet to watch replays and see what is going on in the sports world.  My customer drives a pickup truck and enjoys tailgating before while they get ready for the game.  My customers favorite books are anything about sports.  What I have in common with the customer avatar is everything.  I am a huge fan of sports and love watching everything on sports as it is one of the only things I will watch on TV.  I do not think it is a coincidence because I think a lot of people passionate about sports make it one of their top priorities in their life.

  1. Hey Bill,
I was thinking of how you would make an avatar for your business to business customer. Maybe a composite of team owners. My product is also one that caters to businesses and individuals so it was something I thought about.

  2. I think your customer avatar is great and depicts how your target customer should look like. I believe this activity has given you insight about how your ideal customer should be and what you need to do when segmenting your audience
